East Haven Deserves More

Over the past several years, I've spent countless hours listening to residents, attending meetings, working through challenges on the Town Council, and advocating for our community. I've had conversations at people's doors, at local events, in coffee shops, and everywhere in between. Through all of those discussions, one realization has become clearer and clearer to me:
East Haven deserves more.
For too long, we've accepted less than what our community should be receiving from Hartford. We work hard, we pay our taxes, and we contribute to the success of Connecticut, yet too often East Haven is left fighting for resources, funding, and attention.
I've seen it firsthand.
I've seen opportunities missed because East Haven didn't have a strong enough voice at the table. I've seen our schools struggle for funding they deserve. I've seen local taxpayers carry burdens that should be shared more fairly. I've watched neighboring communities secure investments while East Haven was forced to settle for less.
The more I learned, the more I understood that many of our challenges don't begin in Town Hall—they begin in Hartford.
That realization is what brought me to this campaign.
Serving on the Town Council has been an honor, but it has also shown me that there is only so much you can accomplish from the outside. To truly advocate for East Haven, to fight for the funding, resources, and support our community deserves, you need a seat at the table where those decisions are being made.
As your State Representative, I will be that voice.
I will fight for stronger education funding, including the ECS dollars our schools need. I will advocate for a fairer budget process that doesn't place the burden on local property taxpayers. I will work to bring state resources back to East Haven and make sure our community gets its fair share.
Most importantly, I will never forget who I work for.
This campaign has never been about a title. It's about making sure East Haven is heard. It's about ensuring our residents have someone who will show up, speak up, and fight for them every day.
After years of conversations, meetings, and service to this community, everything has come full circle for me.
East Haven deserves more.
And together, we're going to get it.
