Karen Proudly Receives Connecticut AFL-CIO Endorsement

Karen is honored to receive the endorsement of the Connecticut AFL-CIO in her campaign for State Representative.

“As a proud member of Local 34 at Yale University, standing up for hardworking people has always been one of my top priorities,” said Karen Martin. “I am grateful for the Connecticut AFL-CIO’s trust and support, and I am ready to put their mission into action for working East Haven families.”

Karen is committed to fighting for good-paying jobs, fair wages, safe workplaces, affordable healthcare, and the dignity and respect every worker deserves. As a longtime East Haven resident, healthcare professional, and Town Councilor, she understands the challenges working families face every day — and she is ready to bring honest leadership and real results to Hartford.
