Karen Martin is honored to receive the endorsement of the College Democrats of Connecticut in her campaign for State Representative.

“I am deeply grateful to the College Democrats of Connecticut for their support and confidence in our campaign,” Karen said. “Young people deserve a meaningful voice in the decisions shaping their education, careers, communities, and future.”

The College Democrats of Connecticut connects college students and campus chapters across the state, promotes civic engagement, supports Democratic candidates, and helps students become actively involved in the political process through voter registration, canvassing, phone banking, and community outreach.

Karen shares CDCT’s commitment to developing the next generation of civic leaders and ensuring that young people are represented in state government. Her priorities include making Connecticut more affordable, expanding access to housing and healthcare, creating pathways to good-paying careers, protecting the environment, and ensuring that young adults can build their futures in the communities they call home.

“Connecticut’s young people bring energy, new ideas, and an important perspective to public service,” Karen said. “As State Representative, I will listen to their concerns and work to make East Haven a place where the next generation can afford to live, work, build careers, and raise families.”

Karen looks forward to working with the College Democrats of Connecticut to engage students and young voters throughout the campaign.

Karen proudly thanks CDCT’s Executive Board, chapter leaders, and members for their endorsement and their commitment to building a stronger future for East Haven and Connecticut.
