Karen Proudly Receives Connecticut State Building Trades Council Endorsement

Karen Martin is honored to receive the endorsement of the Connecticut State Building Trades Council (CSBTC) in her campaign for State Representative.

The Connecticut State Building Trades Council represents more than 30,000 union construction workers across 13 skilled trades and advocates for policies that support prevailing wage laws, Project Labor Agreements, workforce development, apprenticeship programs, occupational licensing, and fair, competitive bidding.

Karen has been a consistent supporter of working men and women throughout her public service and understands that strong communities are built by investing in skilled workers and creating pathways to rewarding careers.

"I am ready to put the Building Trades' priorities into action," Karen said. "That means supporting workforce development, expanding apprenticeship opportunities, protecting fair wages, and ensuring that public projects are completed by a highly trained, skilled workforce.
